Just before Jesus declared Himself to be the Good Shepherd He declared that He was the Door. Jesus is the only way to life. He is the only way to peace in this world. In order to find safe pasture with the Good Shepherd one must enter through the Door. There, in the safety of the flock we have all God’s goodness available to us.
