In this passage we look at the downpayment God made for those who trust in Christ. He did something special for those who have said yes to Jesus as their Savior. His downpayment had nothing to do to pay off a debt. His downpayment has to do with providing security and demonstrating ownership. Understanding the downpayment that He made ought to create peace and praise in our hearts and minds.
