In this section Jesus delivers what is arguably His most offensive part of this message. The Pharisees would have at the notion that the Law was incomplete or lacking and that Jesus came to fulfill the Law. Our motive as Christians isn’t the Law, it’s love – love for Jesus that compels us to obey Him.
