Four friends cared so much for their friend they were desperate to get him help. They knew about Jesus and heard of His miracle-working power so they sought an audience with Him. Accessing Jesus through normal means (the front door!) didn’t seem possible so they let their paralytic friend down through the roof. Jesus responded to their faith, forgave the man, and then healed him.
