And Then There Was One

Jesus, along with the disciples Peter, James, and John, went up on the mountain to pray.  There He was transfigured into a bright being.  He was still Jesus, yet He shone as bright as sunlight.  Moses and Elijah also appeared there in that moment and Peter wanted it to seemingly last forever so he suggested building three tents there, one each for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah.  However, Jesus did not yet want this moment to be made public – it would have caused people to believe even more strongly in their own version of how Jesus would be King, not in Jesus’ version of how His kingship would go.
