Cornerstone believes strongly in prayer.Luke 18:1 Jesus said, “that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In verses 7 and 8 Jesus says, 7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.”
Jesus tells us what will happen when we pray fervently to God. This is His instruction to the Church. Throughout the Scriptures, when people gathered to pray, God’s response was revealed in power, boldness, answers to prayer, and an increase in faith in His Body collectively. Note these things happened AFTER the people prayed. There is an increase in the corporate anointing to do God’s will and work when the church comes together to pray corporately.
In this we:
1. Acknowledge and glorify God
2. Increase God’s kingdom on earth
3. Grow in unity with one another
4. Resist Satan’s work
5. Promote effective and powerful ministry through Cornerstone’s peopl
